Before moving to Virginia Beach, VA, which he now calls home, Angelo Reyes lived in Naples, Italy where he grew up in the care of a Filipino father, and an Italian mother. Living in a biracial household has taught him to speak a few different languages, such as Italian, Spanish, English, and some Tagalog. Angelo Reyes ventured into producing and hosting a motor sports TV show. He the was a producer and host of a local show called, Street Vision Garage. His experience in front of and behind the camera eventually evolved into a serious love for acting and directing. While being multilingual and biracial allowed him to take on characters of different races, it also brought him deep personal issues on cultural identity. To further hone his acting skills, Angelo Reyes would take long trips on weekends to New York City to attend classes at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and eventually meeting internationally renowned Acting Teacher/Coach Lynette Sheldon while in New York. Angelo would study under Lynette Sheldon for a few years and with her guidance helped Angelo mature as an actor. Angelo has appeared in the 2020 Netflix film " Hill Billy Elegy," the 2010 comedy-crime-drama "The Bill Collector," the HBO series "The Outsider ," the 2013 drama-thriller TV movie "Killing Kennedy." His acting credentials also includes roles in "The Haves and the Have Nots," "Kevin (Probably) Saves the World," "Star" and "The House of Cards," to name a few. Angelo Reyes continues to work and train as an actor but on his down time he has been developing multiple human impact stories that ignite emotion and awareness with consciousness around inclusion and diversity. Angelo developed his passion to write stories that were relatable and was able to portray characters based on real life and tying in his Filipino culture. Angelo has earned numerous awards for his acting and short films including the Rising Star Award with the Westfield International Film Festival, Best editing at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival, a Platinum Award for Best Short Film with the L.A. Shorts Awards, Official selection at the CEBU International Film Festival, an Award of Merit Best Shorts and Award of Merit Asian American both with the Accolade Global Film Competition.
