Eric Leemon began his entertainment career in 1995 as a member of International Creative Management's prestigious Agent Training Program. Leemon capitalized on the relationships he built at ICM and joined 3 Arts Entertainment; where he worked on the successful launch of the scripted syndicated action hour "Pensacola: Wings of Gold." Moving on to Sony Pictures Television in 1998, Leemon orchestrated the development and production of 135 episodes of game show "Russian Roulette" for GSN, and the Discovery Network documentary series "The Residents", Executive Produced by Oscar-nominated documentarian RJ Cutler. Eric also oversaw two seasons of the syndicated sports spectacle "Battledome", myriad pilots and presentations, and four highly successful seasons of basic cable's number one program, "Ripley's Believe it or Not." After leaving Sony, Leemon accepted a position as the Head of Development for "The World Poker Tour." As an integral member of the team credited with starting the "poker phenomenon," Leemon worked closely with all aspects of the business - development, marketing, licensing and publishing, production, and on-line properties. In 2007 Leemon made the leap from the executive ranks to the producing trenches when he created and Executive Produced "The Adventurist" for National Geographic Television, International. Since then, Eric has made a name for himself launching producing such hits as Discovery Channel's groundbreaking social experiment "The Colony" and, top rated "Deadliest Catch." Leemon served as Supervising Producer for #1 rated "Wild Justice" on National Geographic Channel, History Channel's "Nostradamus Election Special", #1 rated "Ax Men" on History Channel, and Animal Planet's #1 series "Pit Bulls and Parolees." Stepping up to Co-Executive Producer/Showrunner, Leemon was responsible for Discovery Channel's "Road Eats", AMC's "Inside the Department of Homeland Security", DIY's "Heritage Salvage", Discovery ID's true crime saga "Bad Blood", History Channel's innovative "American Daredevils", National Geographic Channel's "Filthy Riches", and TruTV's long-running #1-rated "Hardcore Pawn." As Executive Producer, Leemon created HGTV's "Scoring the Deal", and Nickelodeon's "Parental Discretion." He also took on the launch and full oversight of Science Channel pilot "Underground Science", History Channel's "Milwaukee Blacksmith"; and Discovery Channel's "Militia Rising", as well as their #1 new series, "Diesel Brothers." From 2017 to 2019 Eric segued back to the creative executive ranks as a Development Executive for award winning 44 Blue Productions. In addition to his producing duties, Eric Leemon is a member in good standing with the Producers Guild of America, and has served multiple terms on the Executive Committee of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Production Executives Group.
