Born in Bucharest, Romania, Alberto Tihan moved to Montreal at age of 11. Following acting courses and a strong desire for entertainment, the soon-to-be-actor immediately moved to Toronto after high school to attend Humber College for an acting diploma, before he was even accepted in (lucky for him, they took him in). Shortly after, Alberto quickly gained recognition and respect for his on screen performances. Known for his portrayal of manipulative street pimp Kemo in Nadeem Soumah's directorial debut drama Searching For Angels, starring opposite Veronika London and Vivica A. Fox, his charms and charismatic persona however are seen in Doctor Director, directed by Adnan F. Siddiqui. Other acting projects include T.V. do-cu-drama Operation Thunderball and Dual Suspects, Blink, a college feature film directed by acting mentor and legendary John Bourgeois and short film R.O.G. which won awards at the 2010 Montreal World Film Festival and 2010 CineSiege. Bell LightBox. Off camera, Alberto is focusing on writing and producing, beginning with Beast, a feature film screenplay revolving a young man who turns to violent boxing as a way to deal with depression and anxiety. On his spare time the actor is known for entertaining his friends, snowboarding and reading books on psychology, universe, political and environmental issues.
