Sushana Watkis

Sushana Watkis is an actress, model and philanthropist. She features in several film and TV projects including Sony Pictures action thriller, Ray Donovan (Showtime). Watkis reoccur as 'Alex' opposite Academy Award winner Jon Voight , Liev Schreiber and Paula Malcomson. Sushana Watkis was born in St Ann's Bay , Jamaica to Mertis and Leonard Watkis. She was raised in Miami, Florida where her love for acting came naturally, after unknowingly being entered into the Theodore Gibson Oratorical Competition by her 8th grade English teacher. The then shy and soft spoken Watkis placed 1st place and ever looked back. She then went on to attending (PAVAC ) a Performing Arts Magnet School at Miami Northwestern Sr. High. She continued her acting career at Florida State University earning her BFA in Acting. Watkis broke onto the big screen with her riveting performance in 'The Get Away' opposite Loretta Devine, Vanessa Williams, and Terrell Tilford directed by Rockmond Dunbar. Watkis's most memorable performances to date are of scene-stealing characters such as 'Bradi' on CBS 'Criminal Mind's' and as 'Tiesha' in NETFLIX movie 'FML' along side TJ Miller. In 2016, Watkis appears as 'Lottris' on a TVONE original movie 'Love Under New Management', supporting to Teyonah Parris. Adding another incredible series to her credits.Television audiences may recognize Watkis from her roles on such shows as the Disney series 'Moises Rules' DISNEY XD, Spike TV, 1000 Ways to Die, and short, 'California Dreaming.'
