Jonathan Pope is a Cinematographer whose work has been featured in festivals around the world - including Sundance, SXSW, and Cannes, to name a few. Recently he completed work on three feature films, including the horror-thriller Initiation (2020 SXSW Film Festival), the LGBTQ documentary The Sound of Identity, and The Social Dilemma (2020 Sundance Film Festival), the Netflix Original documentary-narrative hybrid from acclaimed documentary director, Jeff Orlowski. Jonathan earned his MFA in Film & Television Production from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Filmmaking from Georgia Southern University. While at USC, Jonathan was the recipient of the 2011 Charles Lang Endowed Scholarship for Cinematography, the 2012 Thomas B. Bush Memorial Scholarship for Cinematography, USC's nominee for the 2012 Kodak Cinematography Scholarship, and the USC submission for the 2013 ASC Heritage Award.
