Maria Kochetkova

Born in Moscow, Maria Kochetkova trained at the Bolshoi Ballet School for eight years before dancing with The Royal Ballet and English National Ballet in London. She joined The San Francisco Ballet as a Principal Dancer from 2007 to 2018, working at the same time for the American Ballet Theatre since 2015. Afterwards, she performed as a freelance dancer for two years. In 2020, she became the lead Principal Dancer at the Finnish National Ballet.
