Blasian actor, Michael Hardy was born on Clark AFB in the Philippines. Born into a military family, he spent his early childhood living around the world in Korea, Germany, Oklahoma, Italy, and ultimately Hawai'i. Being very active in every new activity he could sample, he decided to focus on basketball, which took him to playing on scholarship at North Idaho College. This is where he took his first theatre course and fell in love with the art of acting. After Idaho, he moved back to Hawaii and studied theatre at LCC under Paul Cravath. Paul told Michael of the theatre program at The University of Hawaii at Manoa, and Michael instantly decided to major in Theatre. The program opened his world beyond acting and into costume, puppetry, lighting design, set design, directing, writing, make up, marketing, and everything involved in the production of theatre. While studying at UHM, he received his first role as Floyd on the hit TV show Lost. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. He also trained with Rick Seaman for stunt driving. Michael still continues to pursue his acting and stunt driving career in Los Angeles, while occasionally performing live stand-up and improv.
