Takeshi Fukunaga is a filmmaker based in Tokyo. His first feature film, 'Out of My Hand', premiered in the Panorama section at Berlin International Film Festival, won US Best Fiction Award at LA Film Festival, and was nominated for the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award. The film was later released through Ava DuVernay's Array. Takeshi's second feature film, 'Ainu Mosir' won Special Jury Prize in International Narrative Competition at Tribeca Film Festival and Best Film at Guanajuato Film Festival.
