A native South African, based in Canada, N'cee started his career in theatre, where he discovered a deep passion for writing and directing. His focus on Berkoff-inspired minimalist plays helped him develop a keen creative eye as well as the vital skill of effectively directing character-driven stories. When N'cee transitioned into film, he started at the bottom as a runner. His natural curiosity and ambition helped him work his way up, into field producing, shooting EPK content and dabble in visual effects. N'cee has since worked on major productions including District 9, Avatar, Elysium and Chappie and has written and directed shorts and a music video. His two most recent shorts made waves at film festivals and online. 'O.I.' is a literal "mind-blowing" story about a man cursed with the gift of an original idea. The film has won numerous awards, including "Best Of The Fest" at LA comedy Festival and "Best Short Screenplay" at FilmQuest and is currently streaming on Amazon, with over two million views on YouTube. His werewolf horror short film 'Hunter's Cabin' snagged "Best Director" and "Best Short Film" awards from notable festivals, HorrOrigins, Discover Film, and Crypticon Seattle amongst others. He's also in development on a narrative horror podcast series where he serves as writer, producer, director.
