DomiNque Perry is an actress and dancer from the wonderful city of Houston, TX. Her love for acting was noticed very early on by her mother and those around her. Realizing her daughter had a thing for entertaining and "showing out" for everyone, DomiNque's mother enrolled her at the prestigious Ensemble Theater Young Performers Program in Houston, at age 7, where they held a summer camp for promising young actors. There she was taught singing, dance, acting, and stage production. DomiNque went on to attend a performing arts elementary, middle, and high school where she took up dance and piano, and later became captain of the cheerleading squad at Kashmere High. DomiNque participated in the Ensemble Theater's Young Performers Summer Camp, as well as the theater's main stage plays and musicals up until age 17. After graduating high school, DomiNque went on to Prairie View A&M University where she majored in theater and made it as a "Black Fox Majorette" for the PVAMU marching Storm Band. She also attended Texas Southern University and became a "motion" majorette for the Ocean of Soul Band. While dancing at TSU, she was noticed by one of the team's alumnus who wanted to start a dance team and audition for MTV's Americas Best Dance Crew. Dominque united with the crew, (called Xtreme Motion) auditioned for MTV, and was chosen as one of the select teams who would perform on MTV. Although Xtreme Motion did not make it past the 1st episode, DomiNque was determined that her journey was far from over. She continued to participate in numerous dance and singing competitions, danced background for local artists, and did local films and stage plays, including "Because I Love You" directed by Joseph Elmore, which was later featured on Netflix. DomiNque started a singing career and wrote songs that she performed at various venues however, she was focused on becoming an actress. She traveled back and forth to Los Angeles for numerous film and music video auditions, and immediately got her start by being featured in Snoop Dogg feat. T-Pain's "Boom". She was chosen to model for rapper TI's clothing line, "AKOO", and was featured in Vibe Magazine. DomiNque also made it as a Jet Magazine's iconic "Beauty of the Week" for their October 2012 Issue. DomiNque decided to move to Atlanta, GA in hopes of breaking into acting. While in Atlanta she worked at Hooters and other restaurants to makes ends meet. After countless auditions, she finally booked her first big on-screen role as "Shonda" in "Get Hard" starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. From there, she landed parts such as "Yolanda" in the film "American Hero" starring Stephen Dorff and Eddie Griffen and "Splendid" on TVOne's comedy series "Born Again Virgin." After living in Atlanta for four years DomiNque finally decided to make the big move to Los Angeles! She ended up booking the role of "Tasha" on HBO's hit series "Insecure" and realized it was perfect timing to stick around and further her career in the big city. She was also able to land a guest star as "Sally" on WGN's "Underground".
