A filmmaker devoted to ethically re-imagining film and television; Craig Gainsborough has a slate of impressive producing credits under his belt. Known for his work on the internationally award-winning feature film and TV series Rurangi, Craig is a strong advocate for empowering audiences, a feat that helped earn the series an International Emmy win for best short-form series. Craig's first documentary short film Candles of Aotearoa was a recipient for of a human rights award, and he's gone on to have international festival success with other short films Ten Thousand Days (dir: Michael Duignan), Tide (dir: Adam King), Thicket (dir: Julian Vares) and Stay, which he also directed. TV series produced include the documentary series Road to Rhythm, telling the turbulent story of the formation of the Rhythm and Vines music festival.
