Ghanashyam Mahapatra

Ghanashyam Mahapatra is an Indian film producer and director. In 1951 he joined a drama company and later joined the Filmstan studio of Bambe. In 1960, he started his production company as Konark Films Private Limited in Odisha. In 1974 his independent commercial movie Kanakalata in Odia has been released. In 2019, the Government of Odisha has awarded him with Jayadev Puraskar Samman.
