Robyn Von Arx is an award-winning actor, director, and producer. She started acting in regional South Florida theater at the age of nine. She attended Vassar College for her BA in Latin American Studies, where she won the Margaret Peabody Award for International Relations. She took every film and theater course she could at Vassar. She was awarded the Lew Wasserman Fellowship for her directing while in the MFA Film Production Program at NYU/Tisch. Her shorts have screened in many festivals worldwide and have won numerous awards. Including a best short animation of the year, best use of music, and an audience award. From her documentary portrait of a stripper's emotional pain to her semi-autobiographical dark comedic animation, her films voice stories of unique and less-familiar perspectives. As an actor, she appears regularly in film, television, and commercials. She won a best actress award for her portrayal of Avery in the film The Mommies. Robyn also has an MA in Latin American Studies from UCLA, where she was a fellow. English is her first language; she also speaks fluent Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. When she's not working, Robyn is a devoted yogi.
