Jack Pleiades Chevanty (Born Nathan Rockford Fisher) was born in Galion, Ohio. He began working in independent film in 1998 (age 14) with the completion of two VHS short titles, 'Farm Kap' and 'Cannibals from Nowhere, Nohio'. He eventually attended Richland Academy of the Arts in Mansfield, Ohio focusing in Media Production. After completion of the program, Chevanty continued producing shorts in analog format until 2001 when he attended the Pioneer Joint Vocational School again focusing on Media Production and completing the 2 year program within one year. As digital film began to flourish in the independent world, Chevanty adapted to the new technology and produced several more films in many genres alongside long time fellow filmmaker Nicholis Heinrich Pirnstill. In 2007, Chevanty moved to Los Angeles to further pursue film making. There, he completed many independent pictures with the talented students of USC Film and began his career in PA work, acting and editing. After having his first screenplay 'Thirst' produced in 2008, Chevanty took on several jobs in multiple areas of the production world. In 2010, Chevanty returned to his Ohio home for pre-production of a documentary film entitled 'Mayday : The Making of American Vitality'. During that time he alongside Pirnstill produced the web-series 'Sterling: The Man From Nowhere' and several music videos and short productions. He still resides there today.
