Apostolos Paraskevas is a Grammy-nominated composer, guitarist and award winning filmmaker. "I Finally Did It" is his first film as a director/writer and his second as an actor. He worked in the past with Director Mathew Tucciarone in the film "Da Capo." He wrote music for the Theater and the cinema along with a vast body of orchestral and chamber music. Classical Guitar Magazine/London acknowledged him as the only classical guitarist ever to have a major orchestral piece performed at New York's Carnegie Hall and the international press as the only musician who performed there in a Grim Reaper's outfit! Apostolos is a Grammy Award Nominee, published and recording artist. Major publishers: Centaur and Bridge Records, Santerrelle Verlag/Germany, Berben/Italy, Clear Note, and PaNas/Greece. He received five First Prizes in International Composition Competitions. He was the founder and the Artistic Director of the International Guitar Congress/Corfu (1992-2005). Major performances with Lukas Foss at Carnegie Hall/New York, Weill Hall/New York, Wertheim Performing Arts Center/Miami, Jordan Hall/Boston, St. Petersburg, Hall/Russia, Athens Concert Hall/ Greece. He is a Professor at Berklee College of Music.
