Kelley J. Jackson

A versatile actor of the stage and screen Kelley J Jackson is known for delivering layered and riveting performances in dramatic and comedic roles. Jackson spends most of her time in Los Angeles where she is a member of Naked Angels Tuesday's at 9 group and is also a company member of The Actors Center in New York. She has performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC and LA. Jackson also writes and has made a short film "Becoming Mim", a dark comedy that through magical realism explores the cyclical patterns and cultural programming related to domestic abuse which she wrote, acted, co-directed, produced, and did set decoration. Jackson plays guitar, sings, and writes songs primarily in the folk and blues styles. Originally from Comfort, Texas, Jackson is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin, as well as the 2 Year Meisner Conservatory at Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York where she studied with Maggie Flanigan. She grew up riding horses English, Western, and bareback, and winning Grand Prize in English Hunter Jumper competitions. She also Danced ballet including on point until the age of 17. She has a strong meditation and yoga practice and is active in working towards the recognition of early warning signs and ending domestic abuse.
