Américo del Río

Américo Del Río Ortega. Actor, writer, acting teacher and stage fighter. He studied acting at Argos CasAzul. He was a member of the National Theater Company. In cinema Americio participated in the film This is not Berlin. In television he has participated in: XY, Mr. Avila, Luis Miguel, the series and False identity. He has participated in countless plays, including, The lieutenant of Inishmore, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead, The merchant of Venice, King Lear, A midsummer night's dream, Egmont, Zoot Suit, Requiem, Salome and Richard III, He has also directed: Underground fantasy for women and violin and XYZ, continues in force in the national theater. He has written works such as Que Arda Tebas, has received several awards for his talent. In 2015 with La Tabla Del Cuatro, won the Emilio Carballido National Dramaturgy Prize, awarded by the Universidad Veracruzana and the Univeridad Autonoma of Nuevo León.
