Pete Robertson joined the Army after high school, serving in the 82D Airborne. He later earned a degree in economics and worked as an accountant. After a stint as a deputy sheriff he began studying film making. He joined the Oregon National Guard to help pay for film school. He studied at the NW Film Center in Portland, OR and at Portland State University. In 2008 he started Foggy Dew Productions, producing and directing his own films. His short films have played at the Portland Art Museum and at several film festivals. Robertson also started going to acting classes, hoping to find actors to appear in his films. He appeared in some television commercials and had some minor roles in TNT's Leverage. He was cast in two independent feature films but had to withdraw after being activated to deploy to Iraq.
