Noel Holston

Noel Holston, a native of Laurel, Miss., is an actor, storyteller and songwriter who lives in Athens, Ga., with his wife, singer-actress Marty Winkler. He took up acting after a long, prize-wining career as a journalist and columnist writing about popular culture for magazines and newspapers, including Newsday in New York. He continues to perform despite suffering a severe hearing loss in 2010, an experience chronicled in his memoir, "Life After Deaf: My Misadventures in Hearing Loss and Recovery" (Skyhorse, 2019).
