Having loved performing since primary school where he appeared in an end of year play about a typical British family during WWII, Mike continued to secondary school where he appeared in numerous plays, devised theatre and Musicals including Annie, 42nd Street and The Front Page Mike took up a Degree in Drama at the University of the West of England. Here he tackled everything from Shakespeare and Avant-Garde to Commedia dell'Arte and theatre of the Absurd. During his time at U.W.E he also took up regular gigs as a Stand-Up comedian which came along after being pushed by Tutors to pursue what they called "a natural ability for stand-up comedy". Having completed his Degree he took the giant leap and travelled to London where he was accepted at the Drama Centre. This was his first step into the world of Film and TV where over the two years Mike devised characters, scenes and short films as well as working on existing scripts. Having studied everything from Meisner to Mamet, Stanislavski to Stella Adler and everything in between Mike gained a Masters Degree In Screen Acting and has been a working actor ever since. Mike currently lives in Hoxton, London.
