Thandy Matlaila is a multi-talented media personality that has been on South African television screens for over 14 years now. The film and music graduate from AFDA is an actress, presenter, dance-choreographer, philanthropist and aspiring athlete & yogi. Her brand is all about wellness and health, especially the wellbeing of the youth. She is the former ambassador for Gauteng's Department of Arts & Culture. She is the Brand SA, Play Your Part ambassador and represents the shoe-brand Miss Black Shoes. Thandy has been on popular shows from Tshisa, her first debut in 2005 to "Soul City", "Intersexions", "Gold Diggers", "Rhythm City" and was also on the prominent DSTV Mzansi Magic telenovela called "The Queen"...with her role still recurring. Recently lead on SABC sitcom "Ithuba Lokugcina", Thandy joined Season 2 of "Ring Of Lies" on Mzansi Magic and "Ambitions" that debuted on E-TV Extra. She's had here share of comedy in the much loved sitcoms "Gauteng Maboneng" & "Ke Ba Bolelletse" and the award winning films "Jerusalema" and "uGugu noAndile". "To showcase her diversity and multi-lingual skills, she starred in the groundbreaking Cop Series, "Streets of Mangaung" and was the face of the "Heartlines" series (short films based on commendable values)." Thandy not only played lead in SA's first horror film "Vampires in the Township" and SA's first dance series "Isipantsula", but she was responsible for all the choreography. Now she can be seen playing Bapsi in the SABC2 Telenovela, "Die Sentrum"
