The daughter of a high school teacher and an entrepreneur, Jaimie Clements was born on December 26, 1979 in the small town of Shellbrook, Saskatchewan. She spent her early years involved in local theatre productions and athletics, winning the Canadian Jr. National Tae Kwon Do Championship at age 15. Jaimie moved to Fort McMurray to study acting and earned her drama diploma in the Visual and Performing Arts program at Keyano College. Now residing in Edmonton, Jaimie has continued her acting career through film and TV. Her roles have included Jodie in the 2010 independent feature film 'Three' for which she received a Best Alberta Actress nomination at the 2011 Rosie Awards. Additionally she appeared in the independent feature films 'Fitz' and 'Ordinary Decent Criminal', and in the short films 'Recoil' and 'Crystal Intentions', among others. Since 2008 she has been represented by Darryl Mork Talent in Edmonton. Although Jaimie still pursues acting, she has found new creative roles behind the camera to be as rewarding. In 2007 she wrote and directed two short films, in 2010 she directed music videos for the band Where's Lula? and in 2012 she completed her first feature documentary, 'The Avenue' through her newly formed production company Evolving Epidaurus Films.
