Gina Diaz was born and raised in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, NY. At the tender age of 9 years old, the youngest of five decided that she wanted to become a famous actress. With the love and support of her community, Gina embarked upon her journey. She studied with private coaches for everything ranging from dance to on-camera commercial technique. This blue-eyed Latina landed her first gig as an extra in Brian De Palma's "The Bonfire of the Vanities" (1990) while still in her early teens. Over the course of the next decade, she has appeared in numerous music videos and other motion pictures such as Larry Clark's "Kids" (1995) and Gus Van Sant's "Finding Forester" (2000). Her career was halted when she subsequently got married and had children. She is an advocate against violence; particularly against domestic violence. Now, Gina has found common ground between raising her family and the re-emergence of the love interest she put on hold those many years ago. She is currently taking on project that professionally challenge her. This talented, energetic and whimsical woman is here to take the filming industry by storm. Her incredible range, great concentration and determination put her in a class with some of acting's best female performers.
