Paloma Maria Mettler

Paloma Maria is a fifteen year old actress, singer, dancer, and guitarist. She is a sophomore in high school at a performing arts academy in Los Angeles, CA where she is an Honor Student in the Music Vocals department and a member of the opera program. Paloma along with theatre classmates won first place trophy in a musical theatre category at the Los Angeles DTASC 2014-2015 competition. Paloma's on stage acting and dancing debut came at the young age of six in The Twelve Days of Christmas with Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo at the Spanos Theatre, Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. She was cast in the role of one of the six geese opposite her sister and lead company ballet dancer Bianca Andrea. Paloma has danced in over twenty musical & theatre productions performing with the Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo. She is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. A member of the LA Ironworks Youth Tap Program headed by Director, Tap Dancer Steve Zee and a member of The Colburn Tap Ensemble directed by Dance Chair, Denise Scheerer, performing for community outreach programs sharing the history of tap and their personal stories with school children in Los Angeles. In addition to her extensive dance and musical theatre training, Paloma's other passion is singing and playing the guitar. Her soulful singing style is an eclectic mix of various musical genres including Broadway show tunes, rock, country, blues, pop and opera. She gets her musical inspiration from Adele, Amy Winehouse, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline and Lea Michele, and enjoys listening to Green Day. Paloma is managed by Schuller Talent and represented by Momentum Talent in Beverly Hills, CA. She has studied with acting coaches Gary Spatz, Darcy Martin, producer/director Aaron Metchik, and Marnie Cooper. In her spare time, Paloma enjoys reading, writing her own music and lyrics and watching movies. She loves English roses and vintage themes, likes spending time with her family and friends and her sweet and beautiful dog Daisy, a Miniature Yorkshire Terrier. She currently resides in the Los Angeles area with her parents.
