Sean Lourdes is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and star of Lifetime's docuseries "Marrying Millions," which premiered on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 10:00 PM ET/PT. From the creators of "90 Day Fiancé," this show follows six couples who come from completely different worlds-one partner is incredibly wealthy and the other is not-leading the couple to face intense scrutiny and questioning whether it's true love or true love of the money and the lavish lifestyles that follow. On the road to the altar, the couples must try to bridge their vast differences to fit into each other's alien worlds. Sean is the third-generation heir of the international publishing giant Auge Media with a net worth of over $30 million, while his fiancé Megan grew up in a working-class family from Southern California's Inland Empire. A son together and five years later, the couple is ready to walk down the aisle, but many still question their relationship. This series shows how true love always prevails, no matter the odds. In addition to serving as President of Auge Media, Sean is the Founder & Chairman of The Lourdes Foundation, a global organization dedicated to empowering today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders. As a passionate champion for youth and social responsibility, he leads with an indomitable Sense of Purpose and a futurist vision. Inspired by a meeting with the Dalai Lama in 2012, Sean felt a calling to share his Holiness' message of tolerance and compassion with others. Demonstrating rare conviction, with little more than a dream, a blessing, and a host of naysayers, Sean hosted two groundbreaking events for the Dalai Lama. The largest event took place at the Los Angeles Forum with 15,000 people in attendance, as well as a group of 5,000 children brought in by his foundation. Thousands of lives were touched, even changed, by this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as the Dalai Lama no longer addresses public audiences. Humanitarian work might not be the expected path for the third-generation heir to a global media conglomerate. However, Sean's life has never been typical. A mini-ambassador-born in Los Angeles but raised in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and New Zealand-the Lourdes family worked alongside Prime Ministers, Presidents, and Royalty. Through these early interactions, Sean discovered that we all have the ability to inspire others and work for positive change. Finishing up his time in New Zealand, Sean attended the prestigious Kings School before matriculating at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy back in the States. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The synergy of his unique international upbringing and his formal education instilled in him a passion for cultural globalization and the interconnectedness of culture and media from around the world. Nevertheless, it is the culmination of his life experiences that has deepened his resolve to identify and create opportunities for disfranchised youth. Sean currently resides in Los Angeles, New York City, and New Jersey, along with his son and fiancé Megan Thomas.
