Robert James Beddall is an award winning English actor and writer. Beddall was born on May 23rd 1985 in Worcestershire, England. His mother Bridget was born in county Mayo, Ireland and his father Robert was born and raised in Worcestershire. His parents owned a chicken farm and distributed eggs. He first caught the acting bug in high school and from there went onto attend the performing arts program at Kidderminster College. After touring the UK and Ireland with several Theatre in Education companies he moved to Los Angeles to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated with the esteemed Charles Jehlinger Award. Previous winners include Robert Redford, Spencer Tracey, Kim Cattrall, Paul Rudd, Anne Hathaway. The award is given to the student who developed most: "as a person as well as an artist' and "who displays a profession attitude towards the art". Beddall made his film debut in A Marine Story (2010). The film went on to be very well received and picked up notable Outfest awards. He co starred along side James Cromwell, Larry Miller, Angela Sarafyan and Joanna Cassidy in the film Night Vet (2014) directed by Julie Cobb. Known for his work on stage he is a member of The Road Theatre Company in North Hollywood's arts district. He has performed at the Pasadena Playhouse, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, A Noise Within as well as the award winning Tread the Boards Theatre in Stratford, England. He currently resides in Hollywood, California.
