Kyle Malkin is an award-winning American Musician and Filmmaker. Kyle began studying and writing music at the age of 9 and making short action films with his younger brothers and friends soon after. Kyle's love of storytelling, especially through music and film, naturally developed into an interest in writing film music, which he began composing for small projects made by himself and by his friends while in high school. Kyle later studied music at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors in May 2011 earning a bachelor's degree in Music Composition. His music has been heard in over 30 motion pictures to date. Kyle's score to the award-winning short film "Dinner with Fred" won Best Original Score at the 2011 Van Wert International Film Festival, and his concert music has been performed by groups including the USC Symphony, the Tucson Symphony's Paloma Winds Quintet, and his own groups, Suite Strings Quartet and Suite Strings Duet. In 2012, Kyle co-founded an independent film production company alongside his brother Cory to produce several films and commercials, including the award-winning "The Woodsman and The Farmer" (Special Marquee Award at the 2014 American Movie Awards). He later relinquished his ownership to Cory in favor of creating his own studio in 2014, Kyle Malkin Films. Through the partnership of both companies, Cory and Kyle collaborated in creating the television show pilot, "Leviathan".
