Jana Peck was born and raised on Cape Breton Island on the northern tip of Nova Scotia, Canada with four brothers. Her mother was once a Catholic nun before she married Jana's father, who was a public high school teacher at Jana's high school. She has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television from Ryerson University. After graduation, she went into advertising and was an award winning copywriter for over two decades. She started acting in commercials, doing voice over work while continuing to write and direct them. She studied improv, took acting classes when she became serious about acting. Her credits include The Hot Zone (2019), Chucky (2021), A Teacher (2020), Kim's Convenience (2016), Letters to Satan Claus (2020), The Listener (2009), Saving Hope (2012), Rookie Blue (2010), and Flashpoint (2008) to name a few. She lives in Toronto and has a son.
