Ashley Shanté

Ashley Shanté is an Actress/Writer/Producer. Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, by ways of Atlanta. Shanté graduated from The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, where she studied TV/Film Acting and Production. Her film Father's Day? aired on Magic Johnson's network Aspire from 2012- 2015. Shante' wrote, produced, and starred in the film. Her work was also featured on MSNBC's News Nation with Tamron Hall. In recent years she has worked on projects for Oprah Winfrey, Steve Harvey, Whoopi Goldberg, and John Singleton. Shante' resides and works in Los Angeles, CA. She is the Executive Producer of a new digital music series called reCHORD. She will release her documentary For-Give late 2017.
