Gavin Salkeld

Gavin Salkeld is an award-winning composer and filmmaker, who started out making short films in 1999. Gavin's work has had success at film festivals across the globe, and he has been creating music since 1997. Gavin started out making dance music before moving into writing ambient and electronica. His output blossomed during the mid-2000s, and as of 2019 he has self-funded and self-released 11 home studio albums. Gavin's main line of work is composing for film. Since arranging and producing his first score in 2001, he has composed music for over 90 productions including corporate videos, radio jingles, short films, features and more. In addition to composing music, Gavin also provides sound design, sound mixing and audio restoration services for filmmakers on a regular basis. His first-hand experience in almost every area of film-making makes him a valuable asset when collaborating with any director.
