Kirstine Barfod received an EMMY and a 2020 Academy Award nomination for The Cave, directed by Oscar-nominated director Feras Fayyad (Last Men in Aleppo). She has produced and co-produced feature documentaries, documentary series and short fiction films including Ibrahim, The Magic Life of V, and Reunited. Kirstine was educated at Denmark's Independent Filmschool Super16 and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
