Rujanee Mahakanjana

Rujanee Mahakanjana is an award-winning director and producer based in Chicago. She is known for "Lab 99"(2022), "329 Years Awake: The Descendants" (2021), "This Too Shall Pass" (2017), "Out of Sight" (2015), "Man and His Erections" (2009), and "Chicago Film News" (Season One-, 2017-) Her work tends to communicate thought-provoking existentialism through symbolism with a healthy amount of quirky humor, mostly a combined influence of the work by Fujiko Fujio, David Lynch, Isaac Asimov, Hayao Miyazaki, and Guillermo del Toro. She is also the founder of Nebula Creatives L3C, Shortcut 100 International Film Festival, and Pixquid.
