Nancy Biniadaki

Nancy Biniadaki is a Greek filmmaker based in Berlin. Her debut feature film "The Surface of Things" premiered in 2017 in Competition at Thessaloniki IFF. For it, she received the Best Greek Newcomer Director's Award at Athens IFF. For her short film "The Moon and I" (2015), a commissioned work for German broadcaster ZDF/KiKa she received the German TV award "Grimme Preis" and was a finalist in competition at Prix de Jeunesse International. For her previous short films she received several awards, including the Melina Merkouri Greek State Award. With her film "Still Counting" she participated at the Biennale of Young Artists in Rome. She has directed countless documentaries for the Greek Television and as a theatre director she created several performances in Athens.
