From an early age, Kelly Frances showed a vibrant passion for performance and entertainment by participation in school plays or performing in home movies directed by her older sister. While in middle school and high school, she devoted her time to school and varsity sport such as softball, tennis, and swimming. During her freshman year at Kennesaw State University, Kelly Frances began her work on a Marketing degree while her love for performance encouraged her small role as the Talking Monkey in the play "7th & Lechery." By the age of 19, realizing her love of film performance surpassed her interest in the stage, Kelly Frances began her work in film- following her new designation of a Film and Video major after transferring to Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. Early into her career, Kelly landed lead and supporting roles in small production indie films such as Eros, Marriage Reform, and Chipped, where she received high accolades for her talent and work ethic; especially as a young actress new to the film industry. Kelly additionally starred for two years in the popular Atlanta-based webisode series Godamsterdam as the quirky but comical Hanna Krakovichski, and as recurring character Daphne Peters in GSTV's television series Sophomores, which is still airing to date. In 2010, Kelly was requested to participate in the 48 Hour Film Festival where she won Best Actress and Audience Favorite for her lead role as Edwina Chambers in the film The Unstoppable Edwina Chambers. The following year, Kelly graduated with Honors from Georgia State University with a BA in Film & Video and a minor in Theatre; proving that she has a lot more going for her than just a gorgeous face and an enchanting smile. Over the last two years, Kelly has passionately pursued any opportunity to expand her film and television experience as well as worked hard to develop the repertoire of a diversified and skilled actress. Her list of film experience continues to grow, with roles in the films Wakefield, Forgive Me Father, a web series Hinged, as well as the upcoming films Ivdie, Abaddon, and Star Trek: The First Frontier. Kelly's zeal for acting alongside her charisma, intellect, professionalism, and profound love for performance have afforded her great reviews from much of her work by either her directors, peers, or interviewing publications. Kelly Frances is fast becoming recognized as one of the top rising young talents in the entertainment industry.
