Mirko Dreiling

Special Talents: Documentary / Animation / Advertising / Story Driven / Urban / Sport Born and raised in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany. Worked five years as an editor and producer for VIVA music television. Followed bachelor and master-studies as a documentary director at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam and the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. Since almost twenty years independent as a director for film, commercials, animation and tv in all kind of formats and productions. His films explore parallel societies, everyday heroes and visions of the future. The commercial work for the Dutch production company 25fps combines his roots in music television & documentaries and his work as animation director for the Spanish/German Studio "B.Water" was focusing on storytelling for children. Right now he is working for the Berlin based production company "ID Mediahouse" as a developer and director for sport-related projects.
