Nadia Jordan is an award-winning filmmaker and actress, who was born and raised in London. She began her screen career producing for some of the most renowned production companies in the UK, such as BBC, Channel 4, Endemol and Sky. She later trained as actor, and in 2006 she moved to New York City where she graduated from a 2-year accelerated Meisner Program. She has performed on stage in London and New York in acclaimed plays such as "The Odd Couple" and "The Children's Hour" and has also appeared in several independent films. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, Nadia set up "Fluffy Cat Productions", with a mission to create content that offers original voices in uniquely told stories, thought provoking and inspirational themes, as well as empowering stories for women featuring strong female leads. "For the Love of George", starring Rosanna Arquette, Tate Donovan, Rex Lee and Kristen Johnston, was the first feature film that Nadia produced, co-wrote, co-directed and played the lead role in under Fluffy Cat Productions. Inspired by George Clooney's humanitarian work, the film won numerous awards including Best Female Filmmaker and Audience Choice Award at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival. It was released worldwide in 2018. Nadia has also directed stage shows, music videos, band tours and short films, including the award winning "Evelyn & Elmer", for which she won multiple awards, including the recent "Audience Choice", "Best Short Film", "Best Actor, Best Actress and "Best Director" at the Austin Film Festival. She is a graduate of the London School of Film & Television, The Sundance Directing Lab and is a member of the Directors Guild of America.
