Javier Solórzano Casarin is a film and TV writer and director, born in Mexico City, he studied a bachelor of arts in Columbia College Chicago. In his last semester, he began shooting a documentary about Elvira Arellano and her struggle for the recognition of undocumented immigrants throughout the United States. He directed his first feature documentary titled "Elvira", which went on to premiere at the 7th Morelia International Film Festival. Ever since he has written, produced and directed several short films, documentaries and recently last year his first television series titled "Guardia-García" for the famed Mexican public network, Canal Once. A show he created, co-wrote and directed.
