Noel McMahon

Noel dabbled in acting at the National Theatre Drama School, while working as a radio announcer at EON FM and MMM FM Melbourne from 1986-1990. With minor roles in Australian productions such as Neighbours, Flying Doctors, Chances and Fast Forward as well as appearances in television advertisements. He returned to study in 1991 and graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (With Distinction). He initially worked as a staff writer for Sports Weekly magazine for several years before embarking on a career as a media adviser to government. A freelance sport journalist since 1995.
