Carissa Kacmarek

Carissa Kacmarek was born in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in the suburb of Naperville, Illinois with her mom, dad, and sister, Corinne. In the summer of 2011, she moved to the South Loop of Chicago to study filmmaking. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Arts and Science from Columbia College Chicago with a minor in acting in December 2014. A month later, she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue directing and writing. Her first job in Los Angeles was as a Tour Guide at Warner Brothers Studios.
