Charles Mosley Jr is an indie film-maker, who is a graduate of (HBCU) Delaware State University with a degree in Television Production. Charles grew up in a very small town, Frederica Delaware. From a very early age Charles had dreams of being a story teller but not really knowing what being a story teller meant. Growing up in such a small town in America it seemed that his dreams were just those dreams. After daydreaming his way through high-school it was time to do what he has been training his entire life for. While in college he Produced and Directed several shorts and documentaries. Once he graduated it was time to pack his belonging and move to the big city to prove to the world that being from a small town you are not less worthy of the spoils our great country has to offer. A stranger in a foreign land he no longer had the security of being home and having his friends and family to depend on. He was forced to network and meet new people. Through this process he was able to find like minded people who had the same goals as he did. After a few years of cultivating his trade, building a network of contacts and Directing a few films "The City Tellz: Miles Away From Heaven" being the hallmark he obtained the tools needed to take his career to the next level. Which leads us here, Charles Mosley Jr is on a journey to change the public opinion of what types of films an African American filmmaker can make.
