Sandy Gulliver was born in Sauk Centre, MN on January 7, 1949. Her father, Kenneth Guinn (deceased), was the Chief of Police and her mother, Elaine Singsank-Guinn (also deceased) was a homemaker. She has eight siblings. Don, Dave, Nancy, Julie, Kathy, Bob, Tom, & Mark. At age 20, Sandy became a Flight Attendant for United Airlines and flew for them for 32 years, retiring shortly after September 11th. During her stint with UAL, she lived in Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, and her current city, Chicago. It was only after retirement that she became interested in acting and started taking classes. Sandy has studied at 'The Acting Studio Chicago', 'The Green Room', Vagabond, and with Ted Sarantos Studios in Oak Park. Though her first love is film, she is also active on stage, having performed at both Theater Wit and The Den Theater. She also performs as Grandmother Silberhaus every year in the Dancenter North (Gurnee, IL) production of The Nutcracker. Her extracurricular activities include directing the social media page of The Midwest Film Festival, searching out casting opportunities for her acting friends, and attending their shows & screenings, all while fostering litters of puppies for Reach Rescue in Mundelein, IL.
