Desiree Lafore

Desiree has been a makeup artist for over 15 year's. Her journey began in Dallas Texas, working on stage in children's theatre. Her fascinations with transformation lead her to utilize her artistic ability to work with local photographers, to create a unique look for nationally renowned musician and photographers in various artistic avenues. Eventually Desiree's ambitions became the driving force behind her relocation to New York, which she knew was the central hub for artists. Ultimately, Desiree combined her innate creative sense of artistry and business ability to ensure a niche in the world of makeup. She has worked in all aspects of media from Fashion Runway, Print and Television. Desiree's work has been featured in such magazines as Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Bridal Magazine and People as well as a requested make-up artist by celebrities and everyday amazing women. My clients include working with shows on A&E, FOX, ABC, CBS, CNN, MTV, VH1 and CMT. Desiree's passion, lead her to further her knowledge by becoming a licensed Esthetician and skin care specialist. She continues to search for the latest technology and skin care so that her clients benefit from her knowledge and expertise. Desiree utilizes the human form as a canvas. Desiree's inspiration for makeup design is based on the philosophy that "a woman's beauty is similar to that of a flower - each flower; though different, possesses its' own unique beauty."
