Pj Perez

Writer, illustrator, musician and recovering journalist Pj Perez pivoted to filmmaking after unexpectedly winning a pitch contest for his unproduced (and then unwritten) dramedy pilot, "Being." He co-wrote and co-directed the short film "Sugarhook," wrote the acclaimed drama pilot "The Foundation," and produced and directed a pilot for the unscripted series "Notepads & Bar Tabs." His 2021 debut feature, the documentary "Parkway of Broken Dreams," won several film festival awards and is now available on VOD and public television stations.
