Colin Wood

Only child born to Henry Wood and Anne Wood. He went to school (Hay Currie/Langdon Park) in Poplar, East London. He had trials and a few youth games for Leyton Orient football club as a 15 year old but never made the grade. He went to work for a bank when he left school in 1973. He wrote a script for a comedy/drama based on football. He is a lifelong supporter of Manchester United.
