Dr. Alisa Wolf grew up on the backlots of some Hollywood's most influential studios. Having several individuals in her family holding key positions at Universal, Disney and Paramount Pictures. This led her to meet some of Hollywood's most successful industry professionals including; Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind), Robert Zemeckis (Back To The Future), Howard Deutch (Pretty in Pink), John Hughes (Breakfast Club), Robert Downey Jr., (Iron Man), Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City), Sally Field (Spiderman) and Dermot Mulroney (Shameless). She has worked in the entertainment industry since the age of five on both stage and screen. Taught by such professionals as Diane Hill Hardin (Young Actors Space) and Sheila Manning. Alisa has shared the stage with Tracey Wells (Mr. Belvedere), Melora Hardin (The Office), Dana Plato (Different Strokes), and George Clooney (Gravity). L.A. Cabaret featured her improv comedy show called After the Laughter for two years, which was produced by Glenn S. Gainor (The Wedding Ringer). Television and feature film credits include: Words to Live By/CBS Afterschool Special (Ricky Paul Goldin), Limit Up (Dean Stockwell), Talk of the Town (Gary Marshall), Allie & Me (Glenn S. Gainor). Behind the camera, Alisa has been Executive Producer, Producer, and Director for a number of Public Service Announcements, celebrity interviews, and webisodes for the non-profit organization she founded in 2005, Actors for Autism). Many celebrities in the entertainment industry shared her philanthropic vision in creating opportunities for people on the autistic spectrum. Industry professional have included; Stan Taffel ( Emmy Winning-New Jewish Cuisine), Brad Koepenick (The Distinguished Gentlemen), (John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard), Charlene Tilton (Dallas), Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds), David Alan Basche (The Exes), Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black), Jerry Trimble Jr. (Charlie's Angels) Ami Dolenz (Rules of Engagement), Jamie Brewer (American Horror Story) and R.J. Mitte (Breaking Bad). She is extremely proud of a documentary Kids With Cameras which was co-produced Kids With Cameras with veteran film producers, Alex Rotaru and Brad Koepenick (Shakespeare High) .The film won several prestigious awards including: Grand Prize in the Monaco Charity Film Festival, and official selection in Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival, Tel-Aviv Animation Festival, Focus Film Festival, Famagusta Film Festival, Cyprus, Notre Dame Film Festival, Beirut. The film received celebrity endorsements by Anthony Edwards (E.R.), John Landis (Blues Brothers), Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds), Annie Potts (Toy Story), Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), and Mare Winningham (The Affair). Most recently she has been sought after by the entertainment industry to consult on a number of TV and Film projects for casting and educating them on how to portray people on the autistic spectrum. She recently consulted on a film project Directed by Zoe Saldana (Avatar) titled, Kaylien. The film starred, Bradley Cooper and Malin Akerman. As an author, Alisa has written several books, theatre guides, and vocational training programs for people on the autistic spectrum. Her book Acting; for Kids on the Autistic Spectrum was endorsed by: John Schneider, (Dukes of Hazzard), John Landis (Blues Brothers), Al Burton (Charles in Charge) Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds).
