Jack Price

Jack started as a runner at the Gate Theatre under Artistic Director Stephen Daldry. He then moved onto editing feature film trailers. He directed his first short film at 18 years of age and joined Ridley Scott Associates, aged 26, as a director. His film interests have ranged across documentaries for television, music videos, party political broadcasts, commercials, corporates, short films and virals. As Creative Director he has worked for Greenpeace Digital and the Green Party, producing ground breaking environmental work in the cinema, online and for television. In 2001 he created the personal party broadcast for Tony Blair and his more recent work as Creative Director for Aviva PLC helped lead a successful transformation from 40 brands into one global brand, Aviva. Jack has won numerous awards for his advertising and corporate work including Winner Audience Award Viral Video 2011 Berlin Short Film Festival, Best Media and Marketing campaign awards, numerous IVCA awards and New york Film Festival awards. His early viral work for the Green Party became the worlds first political viral campaign, his work for the UK Government on reducing CO2 emissions became one of the most played public service announcements of 2008 and his award winning work with producer Kathleen Kenedy gave voice to Hollywood after 9.11 The VWdarkside work for Greenpeace became the most shared viral on earth in June 2011 and garnered more than 500,000 signatures asking VW to change. In March 2013 VW agreed to reduce emissions across the whole group to 95gpkm by 2020. VW is the largest motor manufacturer in Europe. Jack's most recent short film "Indigo" has played in major festivals across the World. It was selected for the 60th Berlinale where it was awarded the "Special Mention". Currently in pre-production for the feature film BOOMTOWN, Jack also teaches the Meisner technique at the Actors Center London and The Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol.
