At a young age, Dupuy dabbled with .his mother's video camera at family functions and with friends but since he never had access to an edit system filmmaking was never taken any further. However upon meeting Liam McGrath Scatchfilms.com, director of "Southpaw" and "Boys for Rent" , he was introduced to the wonderful world of documentary filmmaking. After spending two years as Liam's pupil and only crew working on "Coach" - set against the backdrop of New York's failing public school system, Coach is a journey through the blood, sweat and tears of a High School sporting season - he was credited as Assistant Director for his contributions. Unfortunately Liam moved back to Ireland albeit He did leave behind a brand new Panasonic DVX 100 and so began the journey. Dupuy immediately started following and recording Ensemble Uniqua as well as number jazz bands stemming from the Ensemble Uniqua tree. Ultimately a partnership was created with MTV2 VJ/Poet/Scholar ,Amanda Diva, where over 40 ours of documentary footage was recorded . Using a reel of this footage, Dupuy scored his first professional gig with GoTV a mobile media outlet featured on Sprint subsequently becoming the East Coast leg of their Hip Hop Channel. The access from this outlet put him in the cross-hairs of BET where he spent 5 years working on "BETStyle", "Black Carpet" and "Rap City". This broadcast exposure led to an opportunity with Extra where he has proudly contributed since 2009. Dupuy's experience with these various outlets and genres led him to narrative with projects such as Director of "Cold Storage" a gripping film about cancer set on the rooftop of Hope Memorial in 1972 and more recently the completion of "00:03:00 Thriller" a soon to be released short film .
