Govinda is an Actor & Model Known for his work on Television, Most Notably as Portraying Omar On FOX's We Are New York. At the age of 16 he began modeling for his Fathers clothing magazine and from there it all started! Shortly after the release of his fathers magazine, Govinda signed with his first Acting/Modeling agency. Following his sign up he booked a leading role in the short-lived FOX Pilot titled "We are New York", auditioned for the role of "Navid" for the television show "Beverly Hills 90210" and also appeared alongside Jay Z, Rihanna & Kanye West for the music video "Run This Town" Along with many small appearances in feature films/TV shows such as "Step Up 3D" "The Bounty Hunter "Something Borrowed "Ugly Betty" 30 Rock" and "The Good Wife", to name a few. More recently Govinda's Commercials & Spots For Brands Like Amazon, Samsung, Jack Daniels, Uber among many others can be seen on multiple networks such as CBS, NBC, FOX, MTV, VH1, A&E, History Channel, Lifetime & Spike on multiple platforms, Along with international Print ads featured in Dubai, Mexico & The Bahamas. Govinda is constantly on the go between NY & LA.
