Jennifer Wright was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada where she began to study ballet and jazz at the age of three. After attending professional dance schools for three consecutive years, beginning at the age of eleven, including; The National Ballet of Canada, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet and The Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, she joined The Royal City Youth Ballet Company based in New Westminster. She toured with the company for five years; travelling to perform in Disneyland, Disneyworld and on the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship "Sovereign of the Seas". At the same time she started booking small roles in local TV and film productions, and attended both the Vancouver Film School and the William Davis Centre for Actors. She also took an internship with the National Film Board of Canada where she worked as both an office PA and on the set of the feature film "Skyscraper". Finally at the age of nineteen, Jennifer went to Tokyo, Japan to model with a friend. While in living in Tokyo, she auditioned for and landed a coveted job in the four girl cabaret show at One Eyed Jacks. After three and a half years in Tokyo, Jennifer travelled around the world for the next few years taking time to model, dance and act in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and the UK. In London she did campaigns for Remy Martin VSOP, Shellac, Lynx and Peekaboo Pole Dancing; commercials for Vanish and Ann Summers, and various music videos. In September 2006, she auditioned for and gained a spot in Langara College's Studio 58 - Film Arts Acting Program and moved back to her hometown of Vancouver to pursue her love of performing. Jennifer now has a small independent production company in which one of her short films, "Rest Stop" recently won rave reviews at The Australian Film Festival. She now continues to follow her dreams of making films as both a behind the scenes producer and an onscreen actor.
