Getting knocked on his butt for the film Passenger 57 gave Mitchell Dean his first taste of the entertainment business and led to a stunt career that would span the 90's. Unfortunately, it also ended early with his retirement in 2003. During that time he acted and performed as a stunt person in some big-budget blockbuster films and award-winning television shows. Concurrent with his stunt work, he wrote and sold two spec feature films, "Miami Kills Me" and "A Reason To Die," while also selling specs to some popular sci-fi fantasy shows. After 2003, Mitch transitioned to working behind the camera. He opened VisionTrip Media Company (now Metagene Media Company) and began producing, directing and creating projects for Fortune 500 companies and The United States Government. Some of the clients he worked with have been; Kellogg's, MSN, Microsoft, Xbox, Playstation, Disney, Intel, Virgin America, The United States Department of Defense, The United States Veterans Administration, Doritos and, Mountain Dew. He became an expert with branded entertainment, developing projects which pushed the boundaries of the box. He created smart video game projects, interactive training videos, social media campaigns which darn near broke the internet, films, television (both real and scripted), and even a video series featuring LeVar Burton which spanned a nine-year production cycle for the U.S. DoD, now available in high schools Nationwide. Most recently, Mitch has produced projects for television. These include the television Pilot, "Shadowglade," on Amazon Prime and, "Country Daze," which aired in the summer of 2019 on A&E Network's FYI Channel. Future projects are in development as he works closely with Jerico Pictures, located both in Los Angeles and Miami.
